The welcoming Usk Inn has been transformed from an ordinary village pub into a country inn and restaurant, a makeover that has earned several tourism awards. It was completely refurbished in a sympathetic style, recreating the atmosphere and ambience of a traditional village inn. The 11 en suite guest rooms are bright and cheerful and finished in a refreshing choice of colours. The location is as good as it gets on the edge of the quaint and unspoilt village of Talybont, close to the heart of the Beacons.

Guests can also go walking, fishing or cruising the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal which flows through the village. An extensive menu is supported by a changing blackboard at lunch and dinner making good use of the abundance of local ingredients.
